مَنْ قَرَأَ أَرْبَعَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، وَآيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ، وَآيَتَانِ بَعْ دَ آيَةِ الْكُرْسِيِّ، وَثَلَاثًا مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، لَمْ يَقْرَبْهُ وَلَا أَهْلَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَيْطَانٌ، وَلَا شَيْءٌ يَكْرَهُهُ، وَلَا يُقْرَأْنَ عَلَى مَجْنُونٍ إِلَّا أَفَا قَ
Meaning: Whoever reads the first four verses of Surah Al Baqarah, then the Verse of Chair, then the two verses after the Verse of Chair, then the last three verses of Surah Al Baqarah, Satan will not approach him and his family on that day. Nor was approached by something he did not like. And two verses are not read to mentally retarded people unless they are conscious (by Allah’s permission). (Narrated by Ad-Darimi).
