The story of the descent of the first verse of the Qur’an through the angel Gabriel which made the Prophet’s body shiver

BONSERNEWS.com – The verses of the Qur’an that were first revealed were the words of Allah surah al-Alaq verses 1-5.

“At the beginning of the revelation to Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam was in the form of a true dream while sleeping.

He did not see dreams in his sleep, but dreams that came like the light of dawn.

Then, he started to like to be alone. He retired to the Hira Cave to worship there for several nights before returning to his family, and he brought provisions with him.

When his supplies ran out, he returned to Khadijah, and she provided him with similar supplies.

This situation continued until the truth came to him while he was in the Cave of Hira. The angel came to him and said:

“Read…!”

He replied, “I can not read,”

He said, “Then, he (Gabriel) grabbed me and hugged me until I was tired, after that he let me go.”

He (Gabriel) said “Read …!”

I replied, “I can’t read.”
